Tennessee Boating Safety  Class 

Saturday, February 3 from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  • Tennessee Boating Safety  Certification Class to be taught at the TN Boat & Fish Expo.

  • TWRA will teach a boating safety class on Saturday, February 4 from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

  • Any Tennessee resident born after 1/1/89 must have the certification card on board if operating a motorized boat over 8.5 HP.

  • You must be at least 12 years old to get the certification.

  • Before coming to the class please purchase the Type 600 permit ($10) from any place that sells hunting/fishing licenses and bring the permit to class with you.

  • There is no charge for the class.

  • Enter at the main entrance to the show.
